About the English course
Improve English skills by special curriculum
There are two English lessons provided a day. One is normal English (language and grammar) the other one is essay writing and debate. Students learn the best ways to write essays about global issues.
We can learn English communication skills with ALT and exchange students.
Lessons are ran by two English ALTs, in a small group of students which makes it easier for each student to get full attention and assistance. The English course has generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm from the students, which is fantastic because learning the language will open up many prospects for them even outside of Japan. For instance, we have students who were accepted in colleges and are studying abroad with the help of this English course.
Due to our school´s ties with countries such as the United States and Australia, our students can easily go study there. In fact, they have already begun an online exchange programme with schools from the countries indicated. In their second year of study, our students are provided with the fantastic opportunity of going on a ´study tour´ in either the United States or Australia. （Follow the link to check out our report from the past study tours here ） We also host events such as the English seminar, which takes place in Fukui prefecture and is coordinated by our two English ALTs.
English proficiency exam, contest, career track record of after graduation.
Some of our English students participate in speech contests, and they receive assistance from English ALTs to ensure an outstanding performance. Students with exceptional English proficiency have the opportunity to enroll in international Universities and programmes.
